btw, the powerbook 14" superdrive version sells for the apple retail price of the non-superdrive version if you get it through a university computer store.For a discount of $300,you also get the 3 year Applecare plan included. The price works out to $1499. BTW, they extend the same benefits for alumni.See this http://www.cmu.edu/computing/store/apple.html I would have volunteered to carry one for you if i hadn't succumbed to the allure of the 15" model myself.
